Have Crunching In Neck. Pain Travels To Back Of Head, Hurts In Neck. What Are The Risks?

Hi I have a crunching in my neck on the left hand side. It affects my throat slightly too. The pain sometimes travels up the back of my head on the left hand side and it also hurts in my neck when i go over bumps in the road in my car. It s better when I lay down . I have been to the doctor but he just checked to see if y glands were swollen .

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,
From the symptoms it seems you are having some cervical spine problem .
please get a x-ray cervical spine to see for any features suggestive of root pressure or absence of it .
it will be better to take orthopedic consultation and find out .
