Have Endometriosis, Pain In Side. Hysterectomy Ruled Out. Need Doctor In Cincinnati
Looking for a gynogologist doctor in Cincinnati area whom is actually knowledgeable about endometriosis / and symptoms and treatments for menopause. Have been to many doctors and all they say is that it is no longer acceptable to do a hysterectomy, but give me no hope for my problems. Have even been told that due to Catholic rulings, nothing can be done for woman any longer. Years back I had a 4 hour surgery for endometriosis and I have severe pain in my lower right side AT ALL TIMES. My mother recently passed away and it is just too much to handle that with this constant pain and worry about my health.
Sometimes endometriosis can affect the ovaries and can form endometrioma. Refer:http://srsree.blogspot.in/2012/08/chocolate-cyst-or-endometrioma.html This can present with unilateral pain on that particular side. As you are having continuous pain better to get evaluated to find out the cause. By doing one ultrasound the presence of endometriosis, extent of spread and associated pelvic infection etc. can be find out. Then depending on the report treatment options can be planned. If required treatment is not possible in your place, you may choose some other place where facilities are available.
