Have Extreme Exhaustion, Muscle Pain, Very Swollen Body. Dizziness Subsided. Feel Gloomy. Painful Legs.

After starting Lisinopril. I have had numerous other health issues. My doctor doesn't seem to think it is the medicine. My symptoms are extreme exhaustion, even when I wake up. Severe muscle pain, very swollen body, including legs, ankles, feet, over all puffy. Rapid heart beat even when resting. constant dry cough, blurry vision (thought it was b/c I hit 40), Charlie horses in my feet and calves. The dizziness subsided after a week, but I seem to feel gloomy. The pains in my legs are not bearable anymore. I can't walk 10 steps without being out of breath. Oh and I gained 35 lbs in less then a year, doing nothing different.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Your symptoms are not due to lisinopril, you should be concerned about your symptoms. Your symptoms are showing fluid accumulation in your body. It could be due to ineffective pumping action of heart or renal conditions. Consult your physician for examination. You need to get ECG and echo cardiogram done for cardiac condition and urine routine and serum creatinine for renal function. your history of breathlessness comes under grade 3, so need to consult doctor as early as possible.

Hope this helps you
