Have Facial, Head Sweating When Anxious. Cold Pack Relieves. Suggestions?

Yes I suffer from extream Facial and Head Sweating. No doctor has yet been able to help.The water runs down my
face, drips onto my clothes and is an embrassment. If I get anxious or excited. People just stare at me, especially in public and and ask whats wrong.. I also cant drink hot or cold coffee,wine,beer,candy,hot food. I cant get dry after a
shower. The only relief is a Cold Pack around my neck, if it cools me down then I have chills. But the sweating is Only my face, neck and head..Any suggestions????

welcome to Healthcare Magic.

From your history, it appear that you have multiple stress and anxiety related symptoms. Apart from this excessive sweating can occur thyroid hormone imbalance like hyperthyroidism.

For treatment following steps will be helpful.
-Monitor your blood pressure. Get thyroid function test done.
-Relaxation exercise like daily morning brisk walk, yoga and meditation.
-If symptoms do not resolve, it is better to get yourself evaluated for anxiety disorders from psychiatrist, so that drug treatment for the problem can be started, which is very effective in such condition.

Hi,
Thanks for using health care magic.
.
If you have these symptoms only while anxious, it is more often anxiety induced.
You can be benefitted by stress managment with yoga , relaxation techniques, meditation.
You should keep sugar handy which may be useful while you are having profuse sweating.
You should drink alot of water to avoid electrolyte imbalance.
You should rule out Throid imbalance or vitamin B12 deficiency which may cause these symptoms.
