Have Frequent Cough, Irritating. What Is It?

I am male aged 58 and i have frequent cough. It is irritating and disturbing my office working schedule. I work as Commercial manager and work in AC environment. I live in Chennai(Madras) Tamilnadu India. What could be he reason for this constanbt cough. What sort of medicine should i take or vist which specialist? Thanks for your help in this.

I have gone through your query regarding irritating cough which you have off and on and this disturb your working.

Here I would like to tell you the diseases which give rise to irritable cough. These are-

(a) Allergic Pharyngitis.

(b)Allergic Bronchitis.

(c) Chronic Tonsilitis.

(d) Bronchial asthma.

(e) Grannlar Pharyngitis.

(f) Laryngitis.

Aboe are the common causes of irritating cough and some of them are related to throat and some with lungs. Therefore you are advice to consult n ENT specialist for thorough examination and relevent investigations to pin point the dignosis which may be accordingly plan for treatment.
