Applied gentamicin cream, pus and blood drained out but the growth is still there, had an infection sometimes ago, two months ago used ampilox tablef, the bump died but not totally, currently applying Neo- Medrol on the spot started a day ago, can augmentin be used to combat the growth, as i am scared of bumps, d hair around the region is becoming patchy and would the hair grow after treatment.

Hi, as it appears that you had a grouth on the scalp, with out any side effects. But still it is continuing . Means that the infection and pus is continuing to grow So i advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You have to get culture and sensitivity done and get treatment accordingly. Thank you.
