Have Had Constant Cough With Swollen Tonsils. Why Trouble Eating?
Hi, I have had a constant cough for three months, and for the last month i have had swollen tonsils but no pain at all. i saw a doctor and he gave me penicillin for 10 days, that got rid of my cough. I went back to see another doctor and he said I dont have inflamed tonsils at all. but I do, I have trouble eating and I snore now and my cough is back again, I have been taking nerofen, but still it hasnt gone down.
hello . it seems that your tonsils are infected , this will explain your sore throat and cough. i would like you to get the following tests done - throat swab for culture and sensitivity. i would also suggest you to show your ENT doctor and ask whether you should get antibiotics for a few more days. thanks
