Hi, Yes please. I have had some mild gastric reflux (food getting stuck in my throat like chicken, rice, but usually when I am anxious and eating too fast). Yesterday I got a piece of chicken lodged and though I brought up the food, I felt a lump in the throat and nausea and upper abdominal pain. I am unable to take only the tiniest sips of water. I am a big water drinker. Ate some crackers, nibbled slowly tiny pieces and these also came back up. I was planning on eating chicken broth and soaking the crackers but since I can't even keep more than a tsp of water down, I figured it was useless. I took some TUMS and Maalox and feel much better but then I took in too much water and it all came back up. Felt like there was a lump in my throat. Saw doctor who did not see any inflammation just the mucus. Can't tell if there is any esophageal narrowing... This is getting to me. I am worried I will be dehyrated by Monday. I am hungry but it is not worth the pain and it won't stay down anyway. I have been taking priolosec since last night, took the second one tonight. I was given Zantac and took one this afternoon and will probably do another at 12 or 1 am. I slept a good bit this afternoon, so I plan on staying up a while. Do you have any idea what is going on. I always thought I had good pH balance. I eat greek yogurt (Voskos, Fage) daily. Have done so for years. Just the plain. I like that kind. Sometimes I add berries and a little honey but that is it. That is usually for breakfast. I have been eating it plain lately. I did feel some regurg of hot sauce the other day. I am a spice freak (I would not do well on bland diet). Don't eat much fried, no fatty foods. Lots of fresh fruit and veggies. I am a little concerned about this situation. Any advice would be appreciated.
