Have Hard Lump, Inside Thumb. Why Does It Randomly Appear?

I have a hard lump, almost like a callous, on the inside of my thumb, just above the joint. It seems to be more under the skin. It just randomly appeared one day. I also have a small bump staring on the top of the same thumb on the bottom most joint. This one seems to be more on too of the skin. Once again, just randomly appearing. Any thoughts?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
A random hard lump inside the thumb is likely to be due to a soft tissue swelling. It can be an infected blocked gland, an inclusion cyst, etc. An FNAC will help in proper diagnosis.
