Have Have QT Syndrome. EKG Showed Intra-atrial Conduction Delay. Meaning?

My EKG today showed intra-atrial conduction delay (P/PR 180/194ms), marked left precordial repolarization disturbance, consider ischemia or LV overload. Small negative T in V6. I have Long QT syndrome (borderline QTc 463 ms). Am a 55 year old female with hypertension. What do these EKG changes indicate? I am supposed to see a cardiologist. Am on simvastatin, lisinopril , and EC ASA 81 mg daily. Thanks for your assistance. C.

hello,
the ekg changes show that your venticles in the heart i.e one of the chambers is not being pumped enough blood causing an abnormality to occur and hypertension is a risk factor aswell
i strongly suggest that you have to be seen by the cardiologist because a long qt syndrome can bring about arrythymias which can be fatal, some of the cases are hereditary as well
so you need to see a cardiologist as the arrthymias can be triggered by some sternous exercise esp swimming or certain emotions or slow heart rate.
treatment is with lifestyle modifications and medications so highly recommend you see a cardiologist
hope have answered your query
takecare.
