Have Headache, Mild Dizziness, Abnormal BP And Cholesterol . Done ECG. Suggest Medication

i am 38 years old. i have headache & mild dizziness for over 2 months. My blood pressure was 153/103 when checked. i kept on repeating BP every day. Always diastolic component of BP found to be between 93 to 103 while systolic from 130 to 140.
i tried exercise, very low salt diet BUT no change in BP.
My cholesterol is 220mg/dl. All other investigations including ECG are absolutely fine.

Hello,
Than you for the query. I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. The systolic bp may vary slightly but we mus look over diastole which matter a lot and as it is constant in your case then you need antihypertensive treatment. If you were my patient I will first check your sugar levels too and if you are a known case of diabetes then I will advice olmesartan. But if you are not a known case of diabetes then I will give tab.telmisartan 40mg od and ask you for followup. As the drugs mentioned are prescription drugs I suggest yo to consult your treating doctor to confirm the diagnosis. Thank you.
