Have High Blood Pressure. Taking Losartin And Amlodipine, Feel Exhausted. What To Do Now?

I am currently taking losartin 100mg and amlodipine 5 mg for high blood pressure. Doing the
job but I am totally exhausted and all I want to do is sleep. Losartin was ok but amlodipine is
making me non functional. I am a 73 yr old female. What other med might be taken instead
in conjunction with the losartin to eliminate the fatigue. Also experience hair loss with most
BPs tried.
Thanks so much

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Amlodipine may be responsible...
However, it is wiser to have an EKG, electrolytes (especially potassium) and kidney function to be sure...

You can switch over; there is a choice indeed!
Of the several classes, usually, it is a diuretic (like thiazide or indapamide) / or beta-blocker (like nebivolol or metoprolol).
There are other less common ones too.

Discuss with your doctor and get appropriate prescription...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
