Have Inconsistent Bleeding. Taken Metformin, Regestrone And Norethisterone. Why Is There No Improvement?

My age is 29 years, married 5 years, no baby. This problem I face last 3 years. Sometimes I have bleeding in the morning and sometimes in the evening and stay 10 to 15 days. For the last four day I am taking doctors prescribe medicine tablet Pause 500 (1+1+1) but I don't see any improvement. I am very much concern and don't know what to do at this stage. I had same problem last month and I had bleeding with a gap of 7/8 days. Now doctor advise medicine Start REGESTRONE (Norethisterone 5mg) 1 tab twice daily for 20 days. She also took medicine Metformin 500 mg (1+1+1) and Capsule Ovacare forte (1+0+1) last one month.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Since your age is 29 years old and even after 5 years of marriage still no pregnancy.
You are having , irregular bleeding, dysfunctional uterine bleeding , excessive bleeding.
Pause is tranexamic acid and a hemostatic ( stop bleeding any type).
Now your doctor prescribed norethistrone, metformine and ovacare.
May be ,
1 Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease ( P C O D) , can be confirmed by an ultrasound of abdomen with emphasis over both ovaries and consult one more gynecologist for 2nd opinion .
2 Uterine bleeding , get in ultrasound of uterus to rule out any tumor or fibroid in uterus and consult gynecologist.
Before any conception please consult gynecologist and evaluate the diagnosis and thereafter think about conception .
Good luck.
