Have Itching And Rashes After Using Hair Colour. How To Prevent It From Spreading?

Hello, I used "Just For Men" mustache and beard color last night. I had a burning sensation after I washed the product out last night. Today I've had really bad itching and a rash has developed. I am hoping it does not get worse than it is. Is there anything I can use for the itching? The itching is at a high level. Also, is there anything I can do to prevent the rash from getting worse? Thank you so much for helping.

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic,
You have allergic contact dermatitis to the hair color. You should apply a topical steroid ointment over the rash twice a day. A mid potent topical steroid like mometasone (ELOCON ) will be ideal, however this is a prescription medicine. Over the counter steroid Hydrocortisone can also be used and this is weaker compared to mometasone.
Avoid hair color to prevent future rash.
Hope this helped
Take care.
