Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

I have gone through your query with diligence and I would like to say that, your diagnosis is still not accurate. Although the new doctor has suspected PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) which is exploring further, but they have still not considered sexually transmitted infections. A white thick discharge could also indicate conditions like:
-Candida
-Trichomoniasis
and a few others. So you will have to be screened for these conditions, and once diagnosed, should be appropriately treated.

The next possibility is that you indeed have a UTI, but have not been treated appropriately. This can happen in the following situations:
-Inadequate dose of the antibiotic
-Inadequate duration of the antibiotic
-Inappropriate antibiotic used

So I also advise a urine culture and sensitivity examination, which will provide vital information on the infection causing organism and the most suitable antibiotic that can be used to treat your condition.

Yes, these infections can all be transmitted to your boyfriend, so please abstain from all forms of sexual contact.

And, if you follow the doctors instructions and get treated, there should be no complications in your future pregnancies. I assure you this.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
