Have Muscle Catch, Numbness In Feet And Leg. Reason?

Hi Doctor,
During my 8th month of pregnancy, I started getting muscle catch in left leg (more towards the left hip). I didnt bother about it much then and thought that it would soon be fine. But now, its been 1 year post my C-section, and the muscle catch still occurs frequently. Also, off late, I have been noticing that after prolonged sitting, when my feet gets numb, it is only the left leg that gets numb (I have not had this numbness before delivery). Could you please explain what could be the reason for the catch + numbness? Also, how do I get rid of them?
Thanks,
Archana

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The symptoms that you have during the pregnancy are likely to be related to a vitamin D3 and vitamin B 12 deficiency. You need to start with proper supplements after the necessary blood tests.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
