Have Oil Discharge From Anus Like Drops Of Orange Red Droplets. Cause?

Hi Doctors, Recently since last week, when i go to the toilet there’s yellow oil coming out from my anus . After passed motion, when I want to wash my anus, it feels extremely oily and it was so difficult to wash unless using body shampoo. It smells like fish oil but I m not really sure what s that smell. On toilet paper it appears like bright yellow. And there were drops of orangey red droplets floating on water in the toilet bowl. I have been eating as regular, did not recently change any of my diet . I did not have any butterfish for my meals, but i do eat salmon. I did not eat any diet or anti fat drug. In fact, I didn t eat any drugs. Anyway, I did suffered gastric pain last month. You help will be really much appreciated!!

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Such symptoms can be caused by intestines infection or pancreas issues.
Due to lack of pancreas enzymes (present with chronic pancreatitis) the fat can not be digested. It gives fatty stools, bad smelling stools and floating stools. Weight loss, abdominal pain, nausea can be also present. Chronic pancreas usually appears due to alcohol abuse.
Bacterial infection should give diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pains.

I suggest you to have stool tests, stool culture test and try Rifaximine treatment. If this wont help, abdominal CT should be done.
