Have Pain In The Breast. Had A Fall Earlier. Had Breast Cancer In Another Breast Before. What To Do?

HI Doctor, I had a fall two weeks ago and fell on the top (without lid) of a big plastic box. I hit my breast very hard and was in a lot of pain at the time. A bruise did appear, but that has gone and I am now left with a constant pain in that breast - sometimes I have to take panadol to help relieve it. I had breast cancer in the other breast 3 years ago and I am due for my mammogram on Monday, but can you give me any answers to what it might be.
Kindest regards

Hi,
Trauma to breast causing this problem. Many a time trauma can lead to traumatic fat necrosis. This has got no relation to the cancer. You should visit a surgeon's office for clinical examination. In case any abnormality he/she may give you medicines. Nothing to worry right now just follow your doctors' advise regarding normal follow up protocol after treatment of breast cancer.Take care.
