Have Pain In The Heel. Starts In The Middle Foot And Till Heel. Tried Different Shoes, Not Working. Treatment?

Hi:
Just in back of the left heel and up the back of the leg, I continue to have a lot of pain. It starts in the middle of the bottom of my foot and works its way up to the back of the heel. I have tried wearing other shoes and no shoes at all. It still gives me a lot of pain. I take aleve and it does release the pain but it comes back again. I can walk on it but very careful.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain in the heel that you are having is likely to be due to plantar fasciitis. This can be treated with mild pain killers and regular massage of the sole of the foot.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
