Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Currently, I have pain in my right thigh. There is a circular shaped patch of red towards the middle-inside of my thigh, and an offshoot of the same color (as though I had been rubbing the area) that leads from the circular area to my groin area. There is moderate pain when any red part is touched, but no pain otherwise. The skin feels slightly warm (I say slightly because I am not entirely sure), and appears to be raised slightly (again, it is hard to tell). What do you think the cause of this may be, and what can I do to help it?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The pain in the thigh with a red colored patch like you have described is likely to be due to a nerve related problem that is involving the superficial dernatone. Consult a neurologist for treatment. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
