Have Pain While Having A Bowel Movement, Walking Or Sitting For Too Long, Noticed A Lump Between Anus And Testicles. What Is It?

Hi I am a 32 year old male with generally good health, about 3 months ago I noticed a lump underneath the skin between my anus and testicles in the area. Theres no discharge but do have pain when walking, bowel movement, moving around for a long period of time and sitting too long is uncomfortable
help and advice would be appreciated

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

This sounds like an abscess due to fistula between the rectum and soft tissues. In such case the lump should be quite hard and painful when touching it. Some clear fluid filled cysts are sometimes present in this area as well.
I suggest you to have a simple soft tissues ultrasound in this area at first. In case of fluid collection, an incision is necessary and fluid evacuation.

If it is an abscess, pelvis MRI is necessary to rule out fistula.
