Have Period Consistently For Weeks. Given Progesterone. Why Does It Occur?

hi i would like to know i been on my periodfrom august 2 and i'am still on i when to the doctor august 21 and she gave me these pill to take for 21days to stop my periiod and it did nit help at all so on sept 5 when back and she gave me the progesterone-only injections so my question after this shot how long before my period will stop for good

Hi,
Thank you for choosing Healthcaremagic. As you have been given progesterone injection shot, it will take 1 to 2 days to stop bleeding completely. But the problem with this injection is you might have irregular spotting or bleeding episodes for which you need to accept it.
