Have Premature Baby, MRI Test Shows Some Problem In Brain. Will Will Be The Effects In Future?

hai doctor, my daughter is premature baby(31 weeks). her head circumference is around 32.5 cm . after MRI test she have some problems in her brain. she is still in incubator, the problems in the MRI reports are 1. appearance of the brain suggestive of immeturity 2. likely possibility of migrational anormally in the form of agyria-pachgyria complex 3. delayed myelination 4.absence of corpus collosum 5. communicating hydrocephalus what are the effects we face in the future. please answer my question.

Hi...
I'm sorry that you are having to go through this problem with regards to your child.
On the basis of the report given it looks like your child at present has a complex congenital neurological condition.
Most of the points mentioned in the MRI report are known to occur as separate entities in children at birth or in infancy.
While conditions like Hydrocephalus can be managed well by surgery with good long term results neuronal migration defects are very difficult to treat completely.
