Have Ring Worm On Leg And Noticed Itchy Spots On Foot. Applied Cream And Betnovate. What To Do?
I have ring worm on my leg and halve noticed two smaller spots in my foot. They became very itchy and scabby. Doc gave me cream for ring worm and tablets. The feet ones didn't improve so I applied detmovate cream which has helped. Have had all of them for about 4 months or so months. Is this anything to worry about?
It seems like the lesions on your leg are not ringworm since they did not resolve with oral and topical antifungals. I think you have got ezcematous lesion on your leg. Continue applying topical corticosteroid like hydrocortisone or beclomethasone once at night. Moisturize the area well during day time. Take oral anti allergic tablets like loratadine / cetrizine twice a day. Avoid scratching the surface. Hope I helped.
