Have Runny Nose, Sore Throat, Ear Infection And Cough. Have Ear Pain While Bending. Reason?

Hi, this morning I felt fine besides the flu that I have just began recovering from. The symptoms I have include runny nose , stuffy nose, sore throat , double ear infection , coughing, and continuous phlegm accumulation in my throat. Today as I was praying I bent over and felt a sharp pain above and behind my right ear. It feels like a straight line that runs horizontally in my head. The pain occurs most when I bend over and I feel a minor headache throughout my entire head. I am a hookah smoker and i smoke at least one head of hookah a day which consists of 4-5 circular coals, If anyone could answer what any possible causes could be it would be very helpful. Thanks for writing to H.C.M. for your query.
I have gone through your query regarding running nose ,sore throat and ear infection.
Considering your problems it is clear that you are suffering from acute upper respiratory tract infection with acute otitis media. I would like to tell you how this develop, You are having rhinitis in the form of running nose which ultimately drained to throat and giving rise to sore throat. From here infection reaches to ear via Eustachian tube. Thus you felt acute pain in ear.
Regarding management you are advice for these investigations-
(1) Culture and sensitivity of throat swab.
(2) C.T. scan of paranasal sinuses.
(3) X-Ray chest P.A. view.
(4) Blood - CBC, ESR, blood sugar - F & P.P.
After this much work and thorough examination your diagnosis will be confirm and accordingly you will be advice for antibiotic, anti inflammatory,decongestant and steam inhalation.
