Have Sarcoidosis And Heart Palpitations. Prescribed Prednisone. Safe To Take?
Hi i have sacoridosis and recent was seen by a lung Dr. who wants me to take 60mg of presodine and my primary dr. ays no because i was having heart palpatation after i had started 6he lung 0mg so we went down to 30mg and then 15mg still dr. say thats not enough to treat it thats a waste of time im feeling better what should i do thank you Lynette Lambert

its not that in heart problem prednisolone is contraindicated. so, you can take prednisalone. however, kindly get evaluated your heart problem by heart doctor. as your lung doctor told, for sarcoidosis, 60 mg, is the treatment.
the contraindications for prednisalone are like acute infections, immuno-compramised status, diabetes, myalgia, increased intracranial tension, high blood pressure, glaucoma.
