Have Severe RA, Migraine, Vomiting, Headache. Related Symptoms?

Hi, My sister 34 has been struggling with severe RA for years and nothing seems to be working for her some days she can barely walk and deals with migrains and vomiting regulary. Recently she had issues with palpations she just wrote it off to the medications and RA stuff but it got worse. They put her on halter monitor and determined she had SVT arythmia they said it was separate issue from the RA and Did an ablation 3 and half weeks ago. Within first week of the ablation in which was deemed a success for the heart issue she developed SEVERE headache and given that she was used to migraines and this was So much worse and making her non stop vomit she went to ER. They turned her away telling her she just had the flu. SHE knew something wasn't right. after 3 trips to ER and being turned away because every test they ran came back ok EVEN a MRI. She sched. appt. with her cardiologist to see if it was related to the Ablation. He assured her it was not related to ablation but had her go in to office anyway HE looked at the MRI that was done days earlier in the ER and felt something didn't look right. He admitted her to the hospital and a nueurologist look at it. Before we knew it she was being transferred to UCSF for surgery for Chiari. Are these just all 3 separate issues and she just has the crappiest of luck like they are saying or could this all be related and in conjunction with each other? Could the RA and or heart issues have really just been the Chiari all this time? Or vise versa? This is all so confusing.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello

Thanks for writing to Healthcare magic,

I have studied your case,

Cardiac problem can be related to RA as vasculitis is common in RA patients, prolong disease process leads to loss of elasticity of blood vessels.
Chairi is different problem it cant be related to RA . Chairi can be due to herniation of cerebellum may be due to raised intracranial pressure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
