Have Severe Cough And Cold. Gave AB Phyllin Drops. How Long Does It Take To Get Cured?

Hi,
My baby is 2 n half month old and he got severe cough and cold. my doctor gave him AB phyllin drops.. i have given it yesterday afternoon and today morning each 1ml but i dont see any difference. he is coughing more now. my doc told me to give it for 5days. how many days does it take to cure? and y he got tis? i'm worried more to see my son suffering. Please do help me doctor

Hi,

i think your child may suffer from bronchiolitis. It's a viral infection that spreads with the air he breathes.

You must give him nebuliser with salbutamol and inhaled coticosteroids.
Apart the treatment it takes several days to cure.

But you have to discuss this again with your doctor.
