Have Sore Throat Leading To Cold, Cough And Runny Nose. Is This Strep?

I had a sore throat started on Feb 25th which led to a cold with cough , runny nose and congestion. Symptoms were getting better. Sore throat stopped after a few days but still congested. March 7th, I develop another sore throat. I m still congested today but mostly suffering from my throat. Is this strep or is it possible I developed another cold just days after my first one ended?

hi,
thank you for putting your query.
sore throat is mostly due to bacterial infection.if infection does not get cured completely then there is a chance that it may recur.if you are getting such cough and cold attacks again and again you should have some antibiotic full course from your doctor.dont worry it will be cured.
take care.
Regards.
