Have Stiffness In Left Flank. Sore And Spongy After Massaging. Bruised. Cause?

For about three weeks now i have a stiffness in my left fank,more towards the back,when i strech before i workout its so tight i cant really reach very far ,two nights ago it was bothering me so i messaged it just with my hand and kneaded it with my knuckes,it hurt but not terrable. The next day it was sore,and kind of spongy
and lumpy and i now hAve hugh bruises and it is still slre and lumpy,the presure i used to rub my backside
Shoulnt have caused so much bruising,can you help me figure out whats going on
ave a hugh brusies

The soreness in the flank after a massage is likely to be due to a muscle sprain. This is usually self limiting and pain subsides on rest. If the pain is severe, then do take an oral muscle relaxant.
