Have Stomach Cramps Around Rib Cage, Occurs While Bending In Certain Way. Medical Cure For This
Hi I am a 53 year old woman that suffers from stomach cramps on my upper right stomach area around my rib cage. This cramps can occur while bending over to tie my shoes or simply sitting on the floor. I have notice this about 2 years ago. The pain does subsides after a while, however; it does reoccur if I am bending a certain way and I will have to change position in order for it to stop cramping. Don't know how to explain to my health care physician without sounding crazy!
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. I would come up with these possibilities for this chronic pain from last two years , these includes. 1 Chondritis of coastal cartilage of ribs , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination as well clinical examination by a physician. 2 Hepatomegaly i.e. enlargement of liver . Diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound of liver and liver function test . 3 Chronic cholecystitis or inflammation of gallbladder . Diagnosis can be confirmed by physical as well clinical examination. Ultrasound of gallbladder to find out any cause . In my opinion physical examination by a physician will find out the exact cause according to above mentioned reasons. Good luck. Dr. HET
