Have Swelling In Pinky. Had Met With An Accident Earlier. What Could Be The Problem?

I hurt my pinky in a car accident. There was swelling but no bruising and lasted a couple days. I didn't see a doctor. A month later I am having a lot of pain in my pinky from the knuckle down to the bottom of my finger so in other words the lower part of my pinky. What could be the problem? Is it broken or jammed after so long?

Hey.
If you have pain even a month after the accident then it is most likely a malunited fracture of one of the bones of your pinky. Would have been better had you showed it to a doctor then. But for complete removal of pain you'll still need to visit a doctor and get a X-ray. In the meantime take hifenac dp once a day for pain and tape your pinky together with the ring finger to prevent it from movements.
This will just alleviate the symptoms. Hope this helps. Take care.
