Have Swollen Foot And Ankle. Have Been Taking Patient Therapy. Had A Neck Injury Earlier. What To Do?

I fell and broke my femoral neck at the end of March,2013. Now, at the end of June my foot and ankle are swollen. There is no redness or warmth in the leg. Should I be worried? I am going to out-patient therapy three times a week. Also, for the past 10 days I have been able to be weight bearing after 3 months of toe touch only.

Hi, you are telling fracture of femoral neck, for that open surgery, or a plaster cast are required, after that in some people it is common, due to non motility of the leg.
Keep the foot raised while sleeping, I to my patients with such condition prescribe neurotropic injections for 5 consecutive days and anti inflamatories, for early recovery. Thank you.
