Have Triple Curving Scoliosis. Taking Vicodin, Tylenol, Advil. Have Osteopathic Manipulation. Need To Switch To Vicoprophin?
Im 56 with triple curving scoliosis . No one want to do surgery and I am amazingly functional. I get osteopathic manipulation twice a month. I struggle to keep active and that s when I battle pain. Lots of pain. I have a rx for Vicodin 7.5 but find I can put off or avoid using it with Tylenol migraine . But some days ( I m still an avid gardener, for instance and ballroom dancer), I resort to alternating the Tylenol and Vicodin. I m concerned about the Tylenol and wonder if I should switch to Advil and vicoprophin at my next doctor visit, or if it s possible to do vicoprophin and the tylenol migraine ( alternating)? My doc frequently has me go research this stuff after I ask and then schedule time to discuss at next apptment. I d like to go in having done the research first. What I ve seen so far is inconclusive. Thanks. Carol
Hi, i appreciate that at this age, with so much of pain , you are attending the tasks. You are using the pain killers but not satisfied. I to my patients with such symptoms prescribe neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and then one injection a week to lower the dose of the pain killers. Thank you.
