Have Unexplained Redness, Swelling, Pain In Foot And Ankle After Insect Bite. Taken Antibiotics, Prednisone

Since receiving insect bites of unknown origin (back in August), I have had unexplained reddness, swelling and pain of my left foot and ankle. I have been seen by several general practitioners, two podiatrists, and a dermatologist, all with varying diagnoses of: tendonitis, cellulitis, osteo-arthritis, and gout. I have been on two antibiotics, an anti-inflamatory medicine, prednisone, and lengthy rounds of prescription strength Motrin. I have received cortisol shots, x-rays, and an MRI of both the foot and ankle. Nothing has stopped this swelling and pain and I am now walking with a cane due to my inability of flexing my foot and being able to walk properly. QUESTION: What type of physician specializes in symptoms from bug bites?

For insect bite reactions you can see dermatologist as well as allergologist. But i doubt whether you are having cellulitis. it may need parentaral antibiotics and supportives. For that you should get admitted in a hospital under a surgeon.and they will give consultation for allergy or dermatologist
