Have Vaginal Discharge After Gallbladder Surgery. How To Address This Problem ?

Hello Doctor I had gallbladder surgery two weeks ago. Now I am having vaginal discharge. I am a single black female who has not had sex in 6 years or more. I have researched online and see that some women have noticed the same thing. Please tell me if this is a problem and if so I will know exactly how to address it.

Hi,
Thank you for choosing Healthcaremagic. It could be just a vaginal infection, but you need to get a PAP smear as a routine screening investigation. You can also try some vaginal antibiotic tablets + antifungal, I usually prescribe Clotrimazole and clindamycin vaginal tablets for few days.
