Having Bone TB, Adviced AKT-4, Still Having Back Pain. How Long It Will Take Effect Of This Medicine?

my son is having Bone TB and doctor adviced to take AKT-4 and he is taking this last 1.5 months. But still he is having back pain some times it becomes severe. How long it will take the effect of this medicine? and what we have to do to reduce the back pain? he is 18years old.

Hello and welcome.

The AKT-4 kit contains of anti-tubercular drugs which help in the treatment of tuberculosis. They do not directly help in treating the back pain or other symptoms, but certainly help in treating the infection. So the answer to your query would rightfully be to find out whether or not the back pain is related to TB, and if it is, then the pain should subside and completely disappear only once the infection has been accurately and effectively treated.
