Having Consistent Fever For 2 To 4 Days. What Should Be Done?

hi my daughter is 4 this month and for the last month she has had a fever over 102 at least 4 times this month and no other symptoms to go with it. It usually lasts about 2-4 days each time. Any idea what it could be or what i should do? i have brought her to a dr and he just checked her ears eyes mouth listened to her breathing and told me i dont need to worry but when a her fever goes up to 104 with no other symptoms i am worried.

1.since how many months she is having same complaint ?

2. does fever asscociate with chills , rigor , vomitting or any other symptom ?
3 . what about appetite ? does she breast fed or taking top up feed also .
4 . what about gestattional history . term . weieht at birth any other anamoly ?
5 . you shoul go with complete examination , should consult with paediatric . this complaints is totally unusal .

Fever in that age group should be investigated.

You cannot just simply wait and watch?

Are there any associated danger signs?

The danger signs are
1. Poor feeding
2. Vomiting
3. Loss of consciousness
4. Seizures

Please consult a pediatrician immediately for the same.

Any fever at this age needs Paediatric care.
If it is 4 times within a month - the child needs extensive investigations to elucidate a cause.
Blood counts, cultures, x-rays may all be necessary
The degree of fever is a cause for immediate concern / The duration and recurrence reinforce it...
