Having Cysts. Experiencing Intermittent Spotting, Periods Twice A Month, Light Periods, Dizziness, Blackouts, Tiredness. What Could It Be?

I'm 23 years old and have two kids. I know I have cysts. My last period lasted 10 days when it usually only lasts from 6 to 7 days and I recently started spotting on and off and now I'm on my period again. It has come three times with only two weeks in between each one. My periods are usually really heavy but these have been really light. I've been felling dizzy and black out every time I stand and I've been really tired. I'm always getting migraines and black out when I stand. I've been to the hospital twice and they blamed it on the uti that I had. I took the antibiotics and everything is fine but I'm still having these symptoms. I want to know what this could be and if I really need to go to an obgyn.

Hello
Thanks for the query.
Dizziness or pass out are due to anemia or loss of blood due to heavy bleeding and that too from time to time.
Reason of heavy bleeding is no doubt Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease ( PCOD).As the characteristic feature of pcod is irregular bleeding , dysfunctional uterine bleeding , amenorrhea .As diagnosis is already clear so in my opinion consult a gynecologist and take complete treatment .
The next reason of heavy bleeding may be hormonal imbalance . Diagnosis can be confirmed by examination of estrogen , androgen FSH/L H ratio.
Next possibility may be due to fibroid in uterus so get in ultrasound of uterus .
In my opinion at earliest consult a gynecologist and get his opinion.
As you are already an anemic ( in my opinion according to history of illness) so consultation is very important.
Good luck.
