Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The appearance of the bruise in the area is indicative of an internal bleeding in the area. This needs to be examined and if needed, surgically drained under the antibiotic cover to prevent any infection.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
