Having Fever. Taking Paracetamol , Fepanil. Feeling Sleepy Though Fever Has Stopped. Anything Serious?

My baby boy was having fever for the past 5 days, and the doctor prescribed Paracetamol drops, which could not help much, hence my wife gave Fepanil 500 mg, quarter of a tablet(paracetamol tablets), and my child has been feeling sleepy and confused ever since though fever has stopped. Is anything serious ? PLEASE ADVISE.....

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
If the child is feeling sleepy and confused is really a cause for concern.
Better consult pediatrician and rule out a serious infection like meningitis.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
