Having Frequent Headaches With Neck Line Pain, Vomiting, Mood Swings, Abdomen Pain And Indigestion. Suggest?

I am having frequent headaches with neck line pain, vomiting, seems as food is not being digested and coming back up as if some thing is stuck up in the throat. Lot of mood swings. Little bit of pain sometimes in the lower abdomen and fullness in stomach during the night.

Kindly advise what can be the problem and what measure need to be taken.

Thank you

Hello dear,

The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be due to:
1. Gastritis
2. Excessive gas formation in stomach
3. Gastro esophageal reflux

Headache, neck pain & mood swing can be attributed to the electrolyte imbalance, secondary to the Gastrointestinal symptoms.

You need to maintain adequate hydration & nutrition status of your body.
Avoid lipid rich diet & gas forming food products like cabbage, etc.
Do regular exercise & avoid stress.

Symptomatic relief can be obtained by intake of antacids like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole (to be taken half an hour before meals) in combination with Domperidone.
If symptoms still persist, an endoscopy can be carried out to detect any pathology in the Gastrointestinal tract.

Wishing you a good health.
