Hello
Thank you for getting in touch with us. As I see, you experience severe pain in the jaw when you try to open your mouth wide and there is radiation of the pain. It would be tough for us to come to a final diagnosis without examining you but I would recommend you to get in touch with a Neurologist to find out the exact cause of this problem. It might be a cause of Trigeminal Neuralgia or some other nerve problem. There might be a nerve which might be involved and it might be leading to this pain. If the diagnosis is made early and you are started on medication, you will experience significant improvement in a short span of time. Therefore, I would recommend you to get in touch with a neurologist soon. Hope this helped
