After reading your post, it seems that your slight increase in blood pressure might be stress related.
Still you should monitor your blood pressure reading by recording them daily twice a day for about 3-5 days.
You should get yourself investigated for :-
1. Lipid Profile.
2. Thyroid Profile.
3. Renal profile.
4. ECG.
Following precautions will be helpful :-
1. Have a salt restricted diet.
2. Avoid oily foods.
3. Doing yoga and meditation will help to deal with stress in a positive approach.
Your present blood pressure reading indicates that your blood pressure can be controlled without medicine by following the above precautions.
Reports of your investigations and readings of your blood pressure will help in planning your treatment in a better way.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
