Hi.. Pulse rate would increase in some of the physiological condition such as physical exercise, anxiety, stress.. The other pathological cause for high pulse rate are anaemia, infection, fever, cardiac palpitation, hyperthyroidism, certain medical drugs and so on.. If you meant acetaminophen, which is a drug given to reduce fever, may be it is the fever and the infection that might have cause high pulse rate..
