Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Bystolic is a beta-blocker – it is good for both pressure and high pulse rate.
The dose of 5 mg is not a big one.

Such wide fluctuation in pressure and rate may not be related to the drug.

On the other hand, it indicates the need to look for conditions like PHEOCHROMOCYTOMA.
Your description appears to fit well with this possibility.
Discuss with your physician.
You need investigations.

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
