Having Hives From Itching. Blood Levels Show Elevated AST Levels. Suggest The Medication To Reduce AST Levels?
Can going from no exercixe to hard core exercise cause elevated AST levels? I started doing Insanity, which ended on aug 2... Haven't exercised since except for a walk here and there. Since August 16, I've itching all over. I get hives from itching so much. I had blood work done on Aug 19, which showed elevated AST levels (43)... I asked my doc if that could be causing the itching but the doc told me not to worry about itching or the AST levels. I don't want to take Benadryl everyday. I would like to figure out what's causing me to itch all over and why is my AST level elevated.
Please meet a dermatologist and discuss regarding autohemotherapy.

Having Hives From Itching. Blood Levels Show Elevated AST Levels. Suggest The Medication To Reduce AST Levels?
Hello, Thanks for the query, AST means autologus serum. It is positive in autoimmune conditions. The conventional treatment is use of antihistamines. Another good treatment of this condition is autohemotherapy, You can apply topical steroid cream. Also take an antihistamine. Please meet a dermatologist and discuss regarding autohemotherapy.
