Having Late Periods And Spotted After. Started Taking Primolut N To Avoid Periods During Travelling. Suggest?

My normal period lies between 22to25 igot periods after 46 days now after a week I just spotted brown discharge just for three days not on regular basis .i am planning to travel abroad in two days timemy period falls on the traveling date . As per doctors advice I had started taking primolut to avoid un comfortable situation .will my get delayed on using this YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

Late period with irregular spotting or discharge has several reasons like stress, hormonal imbalance, ovarian cyst, over wt, high prolactin, pelvic infection etc. You need to consult with gynecologist to address the specific cause through clinical examination and tests like USG, hormone assay etc.

However, you can take Primolut to delay your period and it should be taken 3 days prior to your due date. You will get a withdrawal bleeding within 3-5 days of stopping the pill.
