Having Medications For Pneumonia But Having Painful And Tight Chest

I been having pneumonia for the past 3 months , i been taking all type of meds and doing anything possible and i feel like im getting.worse!!!! I cant even walk to the bathroom.because i run out of air and my chest is very tightttt and painful. Helppppp plzzz

Hello,
Thanks for your query.
Usually pneumonia doesn't persist for more than 3 months. I think something else is there beyond pneumonia. You need to undergo following investigations -
1. Spirometry with bronchodialator testing
2. HRCT (high resolution computed tomography) scan of thorax to look for complication of pneumonia or other diagnosis.
3. Sputum for acid-fast bacilli.
You need to consult a good pulmonologist or else you can send the above investigation reports to me at HCM.
