Having Nervous Like Shakes In Fingers, Hands, Shoulders. Took Prozac, Wellbutrin, Ambien. Anything Wrong?
Experiencing nervous-like shakes, mostly felt in fingers, hands, arms, shoulders. Often times can t hold a pen or type without mistakes. Taking 40 mg prozac,150 mg HCl SR wellbutrin in the mornings, and 5 mg ambien at night. Referred to a neurologist, but can t be seen until late January. Could these be interacting or are my symptoms an indication of something very wrong ? Age 67, Female
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The shaky fingers that you are having could be due to stress and anxiety, increased caffeine or alcohol intake, thyroid hormone imbalances or a neuropathy. Few blood tests are needed for diagnosis. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
